Description
Qi Gong (also spelled Qigong, chi kung, or chi gung, depending on your translation.)
Qi Gong, translated from the Chinese means energy work. It is a millennia-old set of exercises that combine posture, breathing, movement, and meditation to improve health, flexibility, and the free flow of energy (Qi) through the body. There are many styles of Qigong, over 3,000 known, with new versions being invented daily. We offer several choices.
Currently, we offer the following styles of Qi Gong:
- Shibashi – 18 movements
- Five Elements – Dao Shr Suzy teaches one style, Steve teaches another
- Eight Pieces of Brocade
- Guardian Tortoise Qigong
- New Moon Sister Circle Qigong
You can look at the calendar schedule and find out more about each style we offer. There are also videos in the reference library you can view.
Other styles will be offered on occasion. To keep in touch, please sign up for our email newsletter. It comes out occasionally – usually about once a week.
